I'm looking at powder coating my OEM RS4 wheels a gloss black. Any recommendations on shops for this? I'm in FW FWIW. Also, I'd like to paint my calipers. Is there a shop that can handle both of these? I'd like a one-stop shop, especially since it's my daily.

Talk to Steve at Autoscope Park Cities... He will take care of it all for you.

He has taken care of some AMG wheels and Lambo wheels for me and they came out perfect both times at a very reasonable cost and minimal downtime.

Contact Kenny at Jotech (972-494-2100).. they have done some pretty amazing colors for calipers.

Wheels will take 24 hours ( bring in day 1 back day 2 ) $135.00 each
Brake calipers will take longer ( Off day 1, prep and paint days 2-3, reinstall day 4 )
COST: $500 labor which includes brake flush + Add cost to paint ( $600-$1000 )+ Add cost of the
brake fluid of your choice ( $10-$60 )... total will be bewteen $1110-$1560 ( Please call for actual quote )

Maybe schedule it around an upcoming work trip, we can pick up the car from the airport and leave it back for your return.

Just a thought,

Steve

p.s. Steve Zink should be able to help you do this as well ( NTAG Sponsor )
and he's in Ft Worth

In FtW I'd use Master Europa for something like that.

I dropped my ISF off today to have Steve paint the calipers for me. I am sure they will look great when he is done!!

how much to have a loose set of calipers painted that have already been sandblasted?

Is there is a price difference between painting your wheels and powder coating them?
I would like to get my stock silver BBS wheels painted since I have heard some scary stories about the wheels warping due to powder coating weakening the grain on the wheel. :dontknow:
