View Full Version : 996 Turbo hit 500whp on our dyno with our turbo upgrades

Been meaning to post this one up for a while. Ralph let us do an upgraded turbo package on his beautiful 996 Turbo S. Basically did upgraded turbos (GT28s with billet impellers), 750cc injectors and tuning and was able to get 500whp at conservative boost and pump gas.

Really solid results from such a tame car. Enough power to light up all fours in first gear and spin a little in second but looks and sounds like stock. :driver:

Oh snap! You guys do tunes for Porsches too?

I'm very interested in this Taylor. Can you shoot me a PM on what this setup would run? I was about to send my turbos out to do the K24/18G upgrade done and use Protomotive for the tune. Would be nice to have a local tuner.

This car is a terror.. I want no part of it from a light.. It feels a lot faster than 500whp and is daylights faster than it was with the epl tune, exhaust and intake. Ralph says it drives a lot better too. Very nice work Taylor!

500whp through a tip! Now it's time for methanol and to turn up the boost, I wanna see 600whp! :thumbsup2:

I just keep seeing these and thinking a car that handles that well with 400-425 at the wheels with low boost would be a track beast :beer:
