Why do I think I could make 800 for a lot less than $80k and still have no warranty...

The last super snake came nowhere near being able to put the power down, so what's the point?

As the saying goes, "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races."

ask how much a replacement hood is

I thought I read somewhere Shelby wants $10k for the hood replacement

That was the KR's carbon fiber hood. The Shelby Supersnake fiberglass hoods can be obtained through Shelby for ~$2K. Still too expensive...

And those supersnake wheels have the wrong offset, limiting tires choices to a 275/285 to avoid rubbing the inner fender.

Regardless of the name and price tag, it is a Mustang. Parts can be readily obtained to fix most of the "issues".

Hah ... never thought I'd see a day when Mustang Tax > Viper Tax.

Hah ... never thought I'd see a day when Mustang Tax > Viper Tax.

Shelby tax > Viper tax > Mustang tax

or moreover

Hennessey tax > Shelby tax > Viper tax > Mustang tax
