Hey guys,
Just moved to North Dallas from Phoenix and figured I would join up here. I picked up this M recently and have been doing little things here and there. I'm a young gun with a strong background in racing (if anyone needs a private coach let me know) and would really love to get out to a meet and some track events.
Just put some new wheels/tires on her and treated the inside with alcantara goodies :thumbsup2:

These are not, these are v710's. Cool wheels, similar to the HRE P40 which I also considered.

I didnt realize it was such a rare option until I started getting into the M scene, this is one of many strange options on this car.

Where do I start, too much to really type out...
Dad is a professional/precision driver and private coach for 20 years now. Being his son, I got started in racing and was put into karts at an early age. Went from Juniors up to TAG and eventually up to Shifters. During that time I was also introduced to full size sedans/coupes (fell in love with driving things bigger than me I guess); learned how to drive without systems (ABS, Stability, and Traction control) and picked up the basics like understeer and oversteer slides pretty well. Keep in mind this is all at an age <15. Eventually he put me in a car on my own on a real roadcourse and started teaching me the racing theory along with all the tricks of the trade. I learned various techniques over the years and was lucky enough to get quite a good amount of seat time in to practice those. As I progressed, I was brought up from 250hp cars up to 400hp, then to 600hp+ cars. I've had to the opportunity to be in and drive some of the most expensive and exquisite exotics, then across the spectrum to open wheel/open cockpit racecars. The best way to look at it is that I got EXTREMELY lucky. I take none of it for granted and can't tell you how much fun I have had-very thankful. With that being said, unless I get a major sponsorship deal, Im looking to go down a totally different career path than racing. I will always love cars, driving, and will always offer insight into the racing world.
To this day, nothing beats racing or cruising around in cool cars :driver:
I could type pages and pages filled with stories over the years, but we'll save that for a meet/coaching session sometime :thumbsup2:
