I'm new around this forum, but I've spent most of my life in Tarrant county and participate on other forums like 6speed, NAGTROC and m3post. I live in north Tarrant County in the Keller area.

My current car is a 2012 Nissan GT-R in pearl white that I picked up about a month ago. This is my second white GT-R so I apparently have an affinity for this Japanese " supercar" that drives itself. I have also owned the follow sporting cars in recent years: '09 Porsche 997.2 C2S, '10 BMW E90 M3 DCT, '11 Ford Mustang GT500 SVTPP, '08 Lexus IS-F, '07 Ford Mustang GT/CS and a '07 Honda S2000. As you can see I have a bit of automotive ADD, but I'm really trying to control that now so I can enjoy my cars longer and save some money.

My goal over the next year is to spend some time out on the track. I've never done a true track day, but having participated in a couple of manufacturer driving events has really whetted my appetite. Hopefully, i will make there sooner rather than later. I'm a member of local chapter of the PCA and have been told that I'm more than welcome to bring my Nissan out to HPDE so that might be where I start. If not, I will do a school out at MSR.

I look forward to getting to know some of the members here. I have attached a few pics of my current and some past cars.

It is on my home computer. I had to go with what was already in my photobucket account. I'll add it when I get home this evening. It was a white E90 with no sunroof, 19 wheels, standard bamboo interior and an Eisenmann sport exhaust. It had most of the major options besides the aforementioned sunroof, extended leather and the upgraded audio system.

Welcome, what part of Fort Worth are you from? TCU area here. The first sunday of every month at Magnolia Motor Lounge around 1PM is a car meet, you should head out there. May 1st is the next one.

I'm up in the northern part of Fort Worth near Keller. I'm basically just east of 35W near that new shopping complex that includes Sam Moon. I own a cabinet shop that is in Colleyville off of Precinct Line Rd near North Tarrant Pkwy. I dive my car to work every once in awhile, but normally roll in a 2011 Ford F250 PSD.

I just might have to do that car show. I get out of church at noon and could head over there after lunch assuming my loving wife doesn't already have something scheduled for me to do. I appreciate the info.

Welcome! We have a number of track junkies on the forum so don't hesitate to ask if you need advice regarding track stuff. I'll look for you at a Driver's Edge or Apex event :) The GT-R can be a real beast out there, very capable!

Very nice! That is pretty much exactly what I want for my next car. Or a P car turbo... Either way, I'll have to wait till next year. (Or the next...)

Welcome. Great GT500 pic. Why did you sell it?

Cabinet shop in Colleyville? Interesting. I bet I've met you.

I sold the GT500 because I'm a crap driver. I never really got good at putting the power down in the first couple of gears and it frustrated me. I could be lined up next to a Honda Civic at a light knowing I need to get over and I would just have to let the Honda go because if I tried to get the jump at the light I would end up melting a perfectly good set of tires and still have to slot in behind the Civic.

I'm not sure if we have met, but my shop has been in Colleyville since the late '70s. It is B&W Cabinets and was started by my grandfather over 35 years ago.

Maybe met. I have a business up there on the side of building small shacks.

It is possible. Those small shacks are pretty common in my area. If we haven't met it sounds like we should. I'm going to need a steady stream of income if I'm going to start tracking my Nissan.

Just saw a white GTR in downtown Dallas this past Friday. Not sure how many are cruising around the area though.

I want to come out to a C&C, but the next one is out because my son's 7th bday party is that day and we are doing the Ranger game the night before. Hopefully I can make it in June.

That wasn't me in Dallas. I'm a Fort Worth guy and rarely venture over to that side of world unless it is for work.
