I'm sorry I didn't get to introduce myself out there, but I must confess that I was drooling over this car all day Saturday.

You were ripping it up out there. Much respect!

That car is definitely in its element for those pictures! It looked amazing, sounded great and hauled a$$ around the 1.7! :adore:

Oh yeah, that plate is perfect for the car too! :thumbsup2:

so hot

were you timing yourself in the 1.7?

I need to get back out there and practice.

Yeah, that's Buzzard's Neck... the car grips like crazy through there, whereas my Turbo struggled to get through there without understeering out to the grass. I like the shot too because of how loaded the car is :)

I ran a 1:21.16 in the dry. Not bad considering it was her first real track day and I still drive her like the Turbo in some regards. Data shows I can still carry a lot more speed into most turns since the car grips far better than the 996 did. I'm overbraking. She's got a lot more to give even before I move to Hoosiers...

Is that the stock exhaust? Looks special.

Stock exhaust with Sharkwerks bypass (basically a center muffler delete that reuses the stock tips). The stock exhaust is titanium on the RS, so it has titanium tips and you may notice the bluish hue when they get hot :)

Great pictures! 1:21 is impressive. It's about a second quicker than my quickest recorded time at Apex 1.7CCW a few weeks ago with a bit of traffic. So, all that means is we should both have a lot of fun chasing each other around at the next track event. :D

Speaking of which, you doing the 5/28 event at MSR? If so, I'll probably sign up.

You both need to skip this one and come out for the 3.1 on 6/6.

6/6 is a Monday and unfortunately I am a desk jockey with limited vacation and I'm not inclined to use it for a Monday track event.

careful what you ask for...it is no day at the park! Exhillirating, yes. Unsettling, yes. I'm glad my life insurance is paid up, yes!
