Looks like it's available near the end of this summer. While I have to admit that the new GC model is about 1,000X better than the last model, the specs on this are kind of disappointing. The 6.4L only gained 45hp and 45ft/lb. and Dodge managed to keep their ****ola 5 speed Autostick box. Truck packed on over 200lbs. of weight too. Not such a fan of the chin spoiler either. I do still give em a lot of respect for still making these and they are a blast to drive.!!

I've been on an extended demo of a GC Overland (top trim at the time) and now Overland Summit (top trim currently) both with the Hemi since around November. Everyone who gets into it loves it. The new Maserati SUV is based on it.

Too many past issues on Jeeps for me to ever consider one. All I can think of is......

Lipstick on a pig.

Until this Grand Cherokee (model year not SRT8) came out I would agree with most that they were some of the most overpriced vehicles you could buy...At least even the Laredo drives and rides like it's worth $30K now...

I've always liked Jeeps and Grand Cherokees. I think I fell in love with them when the 2004 Overlands came out..at one point I contemplated getting one.

That being said, im not impressed with the SRTs esp. the newest model. It looks to busy to me, and those wheels look so cheap.

I have a 2007 Jeep SRT and LOVE it!!! Most fun Daily I've ever owned, just get in it and go. Has cargo space, back seat is comfortable for 6ft+, quick, and just all around fun to drive... Only complaint it gas mileage 11.5 mpg avg... May buy the new one when it come out, but honestly this one is paid for, and I may just keep it and drive the wheels off of it:thumbsup2:
