Just found this video.

The GT-R vs. M6 (http://vimeo.com/4447341)

Comments from Jidex the owner of the M6 from the M6board:

Vid: Finally raced the GTR- Low speed Rolling starts

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enjoy the vid guys
Briefly

-Low speed rolling starts from between 20 to 40mph up to 180mph wide open throttle
-We exhchanged cars and repeated all the runs at least 3 times over.

Results
M6 and GTR evenly matched from 30 to 110mph and then the M6 just pulls away. By evenly matche di mean that both cars were neck and nack and then the M6 just starts pulling at high triple digit speeds..to the extent that you'd swear that the GTR has let off (when it hasn't)

From inside the GTR with me driving. Its really fast at the start and you get the impression that wow the M6 will stand no chance as the shifts are just seemelss- but then I look across and we are nose to nose at 110mph and then the next thing I see is the M6 starting to slowly pull away and by the time i hit 170is in the GTr the M6 was about 5 -6 car lengths ahead.

My take is that the GTR lacks the top end high sped pulling power of the V-10 or even a 911Turbo for that matter
The GTR is still an impressive car in my book

Anyway enjoy the video montage

The gearing of the GTR makes it quick to 100. Nissan was smart to gear it so for such amazing acceleration for stellar magazine times.. Not so much on the highway.

I imagined the GTR would have more trouble pulling high up. I figured it was more of an acceleration/track setup car(from the factory). I'd love to see a modded HKS or Greddy GTR with 600whp.
