I don't even know how you would go about getting it registered/insured, even if you could. But hell, just as a collectors item this car is crazy. 21,000 miles.

The forum sleuths have confirmed that this is the CSL that was owned and imported by Active Autowerke, and "registered" down in Miami with dealer tags. Ebay apparently killed the auction, but the car was sold... hurm, wonder who ended up with it.

Definitely the best (street legal) BMW ever built IMO. Just too bad they only came SMG. If it was made in manual it would have been perfect.
