Unlocking factory NAV/DVD?

Stupid question...but is there anyone in Dallas who can unlock the factory NAV/DVD so that a DVD can play in drive?

Is this for the CTS-V? The process varies by head unit manufacturer as far as I know.

Doing this with my Merc required the use of a plug in module that fools the unit into not seeing the GPS signal so it thinks the car is sitting still. Maybe yours is similar.
