Hello,

Names Adam, just moved down here at the end of March to scout out areas to open up a second location for our business. www.maperformance.com . I will leave it at that as we are not a vendor on here.

Just signed up as I'm just getting around to having time to hit the local tracks and get used to how things run around here. My previous track experience was in Michigan, and Minnesota. Which seem to run a little different than how things are here.

Looking to get started in NASA and complete their HPDE courses, so I can get a TT license and compete in Global Time Attack and Real Time Attack events as Nasa license is required for both of those sanctions.

Current track car is a 2009 Subaru STi. Car is patiently waiting some new power-oriented modifications which are coming within the next month. (Turbo, Injectors, Pump, E85) Just have to finish specing out our new turbo, then will be doing some testing on it to see which setup works best.

While that is going on I will be looking at the brake setup as well. Going to be going with a set of Girodisc 2-piece rotors front and rear with Raybesto's pads (Front) and Girodisc Maxi-pads (Rear) along with lines and Castrol fluid. Then trying some different brake ducting setups, to see which works the best.

Current modifications on the car;

18x9.5 +27 Enkei NT03's
245/40/18 Direzza Star Spec
Hawk HP+ Front and Rear
Stoptech Rotors Front and Rear
Whiteline Adjustable Front Endlinks
Whiteline Steering Rack Bushings
Whiteline Rear Diff Support bushings
Whiteline Rear Subframe Bushings
Whiteline Rear 24mm Adjustable Sway
Torque Solution Driveshaft Carrier Bushings
Torque Solution Rear Shifter bushings
Torque Solution Engine Mounts
Torque Solution Front Shifter Bushings
Torque Solution Pitch Stop Mount
ETS Top Mount Intercooler
Cobb Tuning Intake with Box
Cobb Tuning Accessport - Self Tuned
Grimmspeed Boost Control Solenoid
Invidia Divorced Wastegate Downpipe
TurboXS Cat-back Exhaust
Flossy "Grip Tape" Shift Knob
ISC Coilovers with Thrust bearings, Penske Valves, Swift Springs, Camber/Caster Plates, Amsoil Fluid.

HaHa, definitely. However though it was SUPER cold in Minnesota in the winter, it also got VERY warm in the summer. It his 100+ degrees in Minnesota this year before Texas did! Lets not forget about the humidity!

Welcome aboard, nice Subie!

If you do the Girodiscs please post a review, I'd like to hear how you like them. I'll probably be switching to Girodisc when my OEM rotors wear out. They never had a fitment for my Turbo but they have a GT3 fitment.

I have been running Girodisc products for a long time. I have been a dealer for them for almost 3 years and have NEVER had a complaint. Except one time they changed their 2-piece hat colors and a customer ordered rears and it didn't match haha.

Their products are top notch, and definitely stand up to the abuse. I sold a set of 2-piece to a Texas Mile Gallardo, he has only had to replace the rings ONE TIME in the past 3 years. Pretty good seeing as he is ALWAYS at the track.

Thanks for the compliments guys, hope to see you out on the track soon!

What NASA TT class are you shooting for?

Well mostly I want the license for Global Time Attack, which I will be in Street GT. However I have yet to decide what class I should go into for NASA events. A little help of choosing one won't be turned away. The mods that you see above are going to mostly be it, however I might switch the exhaust and add a high flow cat.

400-425whp, Coilovers, sways, full street trim, no cage.

Download the NASA point sheet and see what class you fall into. You might want to request a re-class based on power. If you have a tune you can run with less power it might help your classing. Your mods don't look too extreme for classing.

I am running an e46 M3 in TTB. If you want to try a NASA event let me know. I want to try other TTs but not many are local.

Well, I'm new to NASA. I tried reading the .pdf but my brain cant comprehend the fancy words ;) haha. Regardless of that, I believe before I can do any TTS or TTB or anything like that I have to do HPDE 1-4 correct?
