about 100 miles...

in city driving about 120...

highway...80-ish drafting :P

the motor seems better able to handle heat vs my Tesla as they seemed to have designed it for the track.

They race them in both a gas and electric league and rumor has it they are going to do a pikes peak run...where usually electrics have a bit of an advantage as they aren't effected by altitude

I mentioned this in the Cars and Coffee thread, but Brammo mentioned that they would like to do a demo/publicity event at a race track.

If I bring my Brammo out for a DE at MSR they wanted to coordinate it that they would be there with perhaps some demo bikes for the other riders to try.

I need some more miles under my belt but want to give it a go!
I track my GT-R...but haven't done anything on a bike at all.

Very cool scooter! I used to have a Duc and it would've been a perfect track day bike...I've never tracked it (or any motorcycle - other than motocross when I was younger)...my philosophy - it's one thing to run out of talent on 4 wheels...but when you do it on two...yahoo! but not in a good way...guess I'm getting older LOL!

Ya, I hear ya. I am a surgeon by trade so if I lay the bike down on the track and do some damage, it could be bad for my lively hood.

With that being said....here is what the Brammo track bike sounds like when it goes by.

**sorry found it on FB

That Brammo sounds awesome!!

I bet it's fun to ride - crazy torque "curve" (straight line more like it), I'm sure. I'm sure wheelies are easy on it!

Regarding your profession - look at it this way, if you go down you could always do a little self-surgery...just teasing...

LOL I hope not! I'm a eye surgeon so that would be bad.

Apparently the electric bikes get beat on the straights as the gasers have more top end, but since there isn't any reciprocating pistons, the bike is easier to turn.

So if you want videos of the gas vs electric bikes, the electrics out corner standard gas bikes only to be caught in the straights.

This company:
https://www.mission-motorcycles.com

made the first all electric bike that can do both. Beat the gas bikes in straights and on the corners!
But at a $40k price is definitely an early adopter item.

listen to this thing go flying by!

Easy solution - stay with short tracks! Those are cool bikes!

Eye surgeons are A-OK with me - used to be cross-eyed, 3 surgeries later as a kiddo and I'm all "fixed"...well, at least my eyes LOL.
