Question -dallas karting complex faq-

Here are our frequently asked questions!

1. When are you open?

-We are open Tuesday to Sunday. We open 10am to 9pm on weekdays and Saturday, and are open noon to 8pm on Sundays. We will stay open later than 9pm if people need to finish their laps, come in late, or have all day passes.

2. Where are you located?
-We are located 10 minutes east of Rockwall in Caddo Mills. We are 1/2 a mile away from Redline Dragway on FM 1565. We are approximately 20 minutes from Broadway & I-30 in Garland. Our physical address is 5025 FM 1565 North. Caddo Mills, TX 75135.

3. How much does it cost?
-We have three types of karts here at DKC. Cadet Karts, Adult Karts and Advanced Karts. Our Cadet Karts are for people aged 7-15. Our adult Karts are for anyone 16 or older. The Advanced Karts are for drivers who can achieve 72.9 or faster in our Adult Kart. The more sessions (or heats as we call them) that you purchase, the more money you save.

1st 10 Min. Heat Race: $30
  • 2nd 10 Min. Heat Race: $25 (Save $5)
  • 3rd 10 Min. Heat Race: $20 (Save $10)
  • 4th 10 Min. Heat Race: $15 (Save $15)
  • All Day Pass - $150 (Save $$$$??)
And here are the prices for our Cadet Karts (Kid Karts)

1st 10 Min. Heat Race: $25
  • 2nd 10 Min. Heat Race: $20
  • 3rd 10 Min. Heat Race: $15
  • 4th 10 Min. Heat Race: $15
  • All Day Pass - $150 (Save $$$$??)
4. How fast are your go-karts?
-Our go-karts are made by SODI, a respected name in professional karting and are the fastest rental karts in the nation. Our adult karts are a 1 speed automatic transmission and go up to 65mph. Our Cadet Karts are speed limited to 30mph. Even our Cadet Kart, which can be driven by a 7 year old, is 12mph faster that the fastest kart of what some might consider to be "our competitor". Truth be told, we don't have any competitors.

5. Am I too fat to drive?
-Our karts can accommodate men as heavy as 350lbs and as tall as 6'8". Drivers under 300lbs will have a more comfortable experience, but the karts will kick your butt whether you are fat or skinny anyways.

6. Do you offer discounts?

-Make sure you check in on facebook & foursquare when you come out to the DKC! You never know what special offers we have for our loyal customers who share that they are here with their friends. Also, if you come in a group of 8 or more you can quality for group pricing which discounts all of our packages of 3 runs or more.

7. What is the pricing for birthday parties?

8. Is it safe?
-At DKC safety is a top priority! Every driver has to wear a neck-brace and a SAE Helmet for safety purposes. Our karts are very wide and low. This center of gravity makes the karts extremely hard to flip or topple. 99% of any wrecks at the DKC result in the kart sliding into a harmless plastic barricade or into our soft packed dirt. This does no harm to the driver.
