Default Freaking Horrible Texas Rangers Fan Death

Guys son watches in horror as his dad fell to his death. Didn't this happen last year too? That kid is never going to be the same.

Yeah, this is really tragic, he was a firefighter, here's an ESPN story on it:

I've sat right in that row before and I am surprised they don't have a safety net there to catch fans. The drop doesn't look like much but I assume the fan must have hit his head on the ground first. Very sad.

I hope Josh Hamilton is ok, he tossed the ball. What a horrible freak accident. Definitely not Josh's fault, but man I gotta imagine it's going to haunt him.

Here's an article that I think best describes it all. The photo of his little boy looking down will likely haunt me for a while.

Saw this on the news earlier in the evening and when I heard he died later that night...just tragic!

Saw an article saying last year's accident was one day short of being a year to the day; they were also both firefighters!

They knew each other as well.

This isn't the first time someone has injured/killed themselves from trying to catch a fly ball. They either need to make the railings higher or put a safety net. People get too involve that they don't think about the situation.

Poor kid, he's going to have a tough time dealing with this.
