Very nice, but unless I'm storing gold bullion at home, it might be overkill...

Noticed tonight that Costco has a Winchester at $565 (or so), 24 rifles, rated at 30 minutes for 1,400 degrees.
Pick up and delivery are extra ... I bet. I'm not even sure it's available.

Safe mover will charge about $200 to pickup, deliver, bolt down. I can get ou a name if you need. It is NOT a DIY job to move a safe unless you and three fiends are all power lifters!

That's slick. Most of he newer highnend mattresses don't use box springs anymore, just platforms. Getting into it with my 250 plus pound Simmons Cali King would be a pita! Couch bunker looks cool too!

Mr.Hollywood, That Custom Safe is very Nice but I agree with the comments afterwards. I Do not have enough Valuables and weapons to Justify a safe that size but what does that cost?

Have you made smaller examples of this?

I don't know about everyone else, but my Valuables are my Kids really, i keep TWO of my favorite handguns within arms reach on either side of my bed for quick access.

the Semi-auto Rifles i would like stored in a safe with a high-tech digital lock with independent power Not dependent on the house ac

The bed gun safe is nice. But, what you needed a gun out of it in the middle of the night or quickly at another time? My guess if you need another smaller gun safe by you bed gun safe for that.

That safe room is for guns, home media/networking and a storm celler....within a basement.
Smaller examples? No. I don't recall the $$$ of the door itself as the customer purchased it. We then built the CMU block wall to size and installed it.
I'm guessing $5-7k would get you a concrete/steel reinforced cell block and safe door like the one pictured.

I'd do lots of things if I had a basement... and even more if I had a 3 car garage... and more if I had a workshop.

Alas, I'm but a pleeb.

those thoughts make me sad, but I plan to at least remedy the last two in a few years, except it won't just be a 3 car. I need my space!

It's not that we couldn't afford more... I just don't want to move, nor do I want to afford more if that makes sense? Considering the extra lifestyle costs (longer drive to get to a place with more dirt, crappy commutes, etc.)... Plus, before we refied to do the pool/patio cover the house was dang near paid off.

I finally pulled the trigger this week. I went with a Liberty Safe. The guys that delivered it made it look easy, granted they do it every day (also have the right equipment).
