Bezel is awesome on the Hublot. The new Oakley is a decent piece... It has a cool crown piece that turns the inside of the bezel. It's a cool trick. It's my first metal bracelet in a long time, part metal anyway. It just needs a little more architecture to the crystal.

I'm a ***** for Movado and their brands (Ebel, Hugo Boss, Scuderia Ferrari etc)...but not the typical museum style ones...I hit up the Movado Outlet in Allen (at the outlet mall), they seem to have great prices/deals...full disclaimer - also a stockholder. Nice watches for the money. Also, these are not *my photos*, other folks' pix of "sister" watches that I own.

My favorite, Concord Saratoga SL:

Movado Series 800:

Movado Vizio Carbon Fiber:

BOSS Formula 1 Watch, it's a little bulky for me though, I prefer low-height cases, case size of 46mm:

We bought this for our 13 year old Nephew for Christmas this year, he was a happy camper:

I ended up getting Ball watch a while back. It was spectacularly bright. I mean impressive. I got the Aviator series. I ended up giving to my father as he mentioned having difficulty reading his watch in low light setting.

Hard to miss this thing.

I ended up missing my Aviator so much that I bought a Stormchaser by Ball. It's not quite as impressive at night but it still outshines every other watch I own.

I buy/sell almost exclusively on www.timezone.com on "Sales corner". Ive bought and sold several watches on there, all with terrific prices and great satisfaction. I always buy used.

Two of my watches came from sellers from Eastern European countries where most buyers would have hesitation and fear over an overseas transaction from someone you've never met. I didn't feel so bad when I picked up one for ~30% of retail, the other for roughly 50% off retail. And they're NOT fakes/replicas.

Be careful there. That answer depends on the brand. There are a lot of brands whose warranties are not valid if it isn't purchased from a boutique or at least an authorized dealer. The warranty you get from most online sellers is not a manufacturers warranty, so the work could be done by anyone.

Awesome watch. I just saw one in person this weekend and loved it. It sold out, so I never got to see it in the store!

FWIW, I opened a side business buying and selling highline watches...made a lot of relationships with guys in the watch and jewelry business supplying them cars and wheels etc...so I can get new stuff at a discount without tax and can source pre-owned stuff as well. If I can help let me know!

Oh man incredible UBOAT deals... I love an Italian watch. May have to grab one of those left hooks... less than a grand!
